2A Publishing is a media company based in the south side of Glasgow that produces a number of publications, primarily in the healthcare industry, as well as supporting websites. We also work alongside some of the largest companies in the world to provide a range of advertising solutions for them to support their marketing campaigns.
The Role
The primary role of the graphic designer will be the creation of the monthly disability rights magazine, UNITE and the bi-monthly publication for occupational therapists, The OT Magazine. As well as this you will be responsible for the creation and upkeep of the multiple websites across the 2A portfolio, marketing material for any of the brands, advertising (print and digital) plus supported material for the editorial and marketing team. You will also be asked to provide design support for our disability lifestyle magazine, PosAbility.
Your Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite – particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of current design standards and latest trends
- Proficient in WordPress
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of HTML/CSS
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Video production (desirable but not essential)
Your Qualification
• Minimum HND in design-based field
Your Experience
• 2 years+ experience
The Salary
• £18k – £22k DOE
